- Dolphins are known for being highly intelligent and social creatures – in fact, they’re considered to be some of the most intelligent creatures besides humans.
- Octopuses hang out in coral reefs. They are mostly reddish-brown or gray and known for their eight tentacles, which is where “octo” in their name comes from.

- Eels can be found in freshwater and marine environments worldwide, who look a bit like snakes of the sea.
- Starfish can be found in oceans worldwide, especially on the seabed, and come in a range of beautiful colors. Their official name is actually “sea stars”.
- Corals can be found in warm, shallow ocean waters worldwide, and are actually animals, not plants. They are known for their beautiful colors and are known for their reef-building skills.
- Orcas are a type of whale that hangs out in colder waters. They are mostly black and white and known for their hunting skills – even though they look cute, they’re actually the most dangerous of whales.

- Shrimp are mostly pink or translucent and known for their main purpose to humans – food!
- Jellyfish are mostly translucent or blue and known for their cute tentacles and abilities to live for a very very long time.
- Clownfish are fish that hang out in coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. They are mostly orange and white and known because they are the species of Nemo in Finding Nemo.
