About these Cute Animals!

Here are some fun facts about each animal from these sheets that you can share with your kids:

  • Panda: The panda bear almost went extinct due to habitat destruction by humans, but fortunately, this cutie is slowly regenerating in China, with about 1800 now out in the wild.
  • Koala: The koala, found in the eucalyptus trees of Australia, may be soft and fluffy and cute from a distance, but it can actually be quite fierce if you get too close to it or its young.
  • Bunny: The bunny rabbit can be kept as a pet for kids, making it a fan favorite for many who love the cute way it chews on carrots.
  • Kitten: Like many species, the baby cat – or kitten – has very soft, cute features. They can be cuddly and playful, just like baby humans.
  • Puppy: Just like a kitten, a puppy can be playful and cuddly. Mother dogs usually have a litter of several puppies, and it’s cute to see them playing together.
  • Hedgehog: The cutest thing about the hedgehog is the way it curls up into a little ball when it feels threatened.
  • Chick: Baby chickens, known as chicks, can be held in your hands, where you can feel their warmth and beautiful soft feathers. You can keep them as pets, but they need to be kept under heat lamps.
  • Penguin: There are 18 species of penguin, but my favorite is the emporor penguin who has a cute yellow collar around his neck. Fun fact: many penguins mate for life!
  • Meerkat: The meerkat is a very social animal. They live and play together, working as a community for the security and prosperity of all.
