Discover our Printable Number Flashcards for Kids, designed to make learning numbers fun and engaging.
Here I’ve made eight unique versions, including classic numbers, words, colorful themes, and countable units, to cater to different learning styles.
Each set is carefully crafted to enhance number recognition, counting skills, and early math concepts. Perfect for parents, teachers, and caregivers, these flashcards are a versatile tool for any learning environment. Usable for games such as snap and memory.
When you print the cards, make sure you either print them on thicker cardboard, or laminate them before use to ensure they can be re-used over and over again!

The simplest way to use these cards is to shuffle the deck and have your child practice saying the name of the card that is turned up until they have rote memorized all the numbers.
2. Snap Game
To add some fun and flavor, have your children play Snap! with the cards. You can start simple by only using the numbers, but add complexity by including both numbers (1, 2, 3) and words (one, two, three) into the pack.
3. Bigger or Smaller?
For this activity, shuffle the deck and distribute the deck evenly to all players. Next, have every player lay out their top card face-down for the whole group to see. Children need to look at the numbers on each card and see who has the largest number.
The child with the largest number gets to keep all cards that were played during that round.
You can continue playing until one child has the whole deck, or increase the level of difficulty by introducing power cards, such as determining that the number 7 always wins even if there are higher numbers played!
4. Make Large Numbers
As your child’s skills progress, you can start to introduce numbers that are multi-digit. At this stage, you can use the pack to yell out a larger number (“Five hundred and sixteen!”). Then, your child can test themselves by trying to make the multi-digit number by lining up the single-digit flashcards in the correct order.
